Ok, maybe I do have a weak stomach, but I don't need national commercials to cause me to want to vomit while I watch my TV shows. The new Arby's commercial touting their new Roast Burger is gross. The commercial shows a greasy haired teenage Arby's employee using a "regular" fast food burger's "greasiness" to slick back his hair! AAARGH! Arby's this doesn't make me want to eat your sandwich, or any other fast food for that matter. Now, when I drive past Arby's, I get queasy. In fact, I am queasy now. Let's see, anyone else feeling queasy?

It may be in bad taste but it did get your attention and thats what they want. It is called a GRABBER in the advertising world.
ReplyDeleteThe greasy commercial made me stop eating Arby's anything...It GRABBED me and showed me Arby's employees will do nasty things with food.
ReplyDeleteI put it in the same category as Quiznos using rodents for their spokespeople... haven't had Quiznos in five years thanks to that brilliant advertising choice. Any executive that approves these commercials doesn't need my money.
